Week 1 #2 Learning Habits

The last time I was tested on my learning habits, I was not only a "Visual" learner but the kind that does best with "reading/writing." I continue to take this to mean that I do best with some text handed to me rather than hearing or feeling something. Since the iHCPL comes to me in the form of the written word, I think I will do well.

Greetings & Salutations

Welcome to my iHCPL blog. My name is Jorie Nissen (as my email says, my last name rhymes with "Listen." The last name is Danish and it refers to a group of small elves such as the ones seen in the picture on the left. I work as a Children's Specialist at Cy-Fair Library. One thing I do is lead a weekly Preschool Story Time. Another thing I work on is Brownie Girl Scout programming at Cy-Fair. Coincidentally, Brownies are also named after tiny, helpful elves. In the end, I chose the name Brownie Points.
