Writing in cyberspace is like speaking in that once a statement is made, it cannot be taken back. Even if I delete this post, I understand that the deleted post can still be found on Google. Of course, I want to choose my words wisely.
If I do not want to whole world to see something, then I shouldn't put it in my blog. This goes for words, pictures, personal information, etc.
As a Children's Specialist, I understand the need for Kid Friendly computers. Parents should be somewhat comfortable in what their children are viewing. However, one mom might think something is okay for her son or daughter to see while another mom believes the exact same thing is objectionable. Parents should decide for their children what is appropriate.
Being that as it may, I do not want to put anything that may be challenged into web content I've created. It's a thin line. Ultimately, I choose to ere on the side of caution.
