Week 10: #23 Is this really the end? Or just the beginning...

What were your favorite discoveries or exercises on this learning journey?
- I liked using the RSS feeds and the Animoto site. Also, it was cool making the various widgets.
How has this program assisted or affected your lifelong learning goals?
- It has opened my eyes to how much we humans depend on information technology. When HCPLs systems were down, it felt as though we were in the Stone Ages.
Were there any take-aways or unexpected outcomes from this program that surprised you?
- I really thought the Animoto was awesome. I hope to use it a whole lot.
What ideas do you have for using these technologies at Harris County Public Library?
- I want to encourage patrons to get in on the act. There is much potential in Web 2.0.
What else do you want to learn about? What other web 2.0 applications are you interested in?
- I'd like to learn more about folksonomies, html, and wikis. I really need to learn html in order to make sites the way I want them.
